The word also has the power to change the coarse of history. A very clear example of this is the situation we, the human race are in right now. A few men - at this very moment will change the world drastically and forever simply by speaking. The words that they choose to use hold in their grasp the lives of many and the future itself. Just as "God said "Let there be light!" and there was light," so man who was created in God's own image has that power to create (and destroy) with the Word.
