A detailed Summary of matrix

One of the greatest stories of all time would have to be Alice in Wonderland. The idea of someone living a life they think is real then having it all change on them actually started a long time ago. The most recent movie with a similar story line is The Matrix. A young man by the name of Neo lives a life he thinks is completely real, only to find out it isn't. He doesn't find this out on his own however. He is guided by a man they call Morpheus. Morpheus plays the role of Neo's mentor all throughout the film. He guides and trains Neo to help fight the Matrix and its machines. The character of Morpheus has many different aspects to him, but in order to fully understand all of them we must take a small look at the character of Neo as well.

An oracle has said that Neo is the chosen one and that he will be able to perform impossible feats and destroy the Matrix. When the oracle said this Morpheus started searching for Neo. With time Morpheus found Neo and gave an option. " Take the blue pill, the story ends you wake up and believe whatever you want. " Take the red pill, you stay in wonderland and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes". This one point makes the story happen.

Another thing about Morpheus is the way he dresses. His style of dress would be considered bland by most. The outfit he wears the most is dark black pants and button up shirt, with a pale green necktie. Over all of this he wears a black leather trench coat. His glasses are also black and connect to the nose. His outfit as well as the outfits of most of his crew, makes them seem dark and intimidating. Almost all of them dress in all black similar to a seal team going behind enemy lines. The color black is often worn by people that are deceptive and don't want to be picked out of a crowd. Which is what they try to do whenever they are in the Matrix. This style of dressing is only done in the Matrix. The dress of all the characters is different when they are outside of the matrix.

Once Morpheus finds Neo the option of which road to take is given to him. After Neo takes the red pill, Morpheus immediately starts to guide him and train. Morpheus' personality and traits are very similar to those of other "mentor" characters in other films. He is very knowledgeable in many things. He knows what's real and what isn't, what's possible or impossible in the matix.

Morpheus also has an interesting personality. He is very laid back. He never makes a sudden outburst of anger towards his crew. He is very straightforward to them. For example Morpheus didn't hide the searh for Neo from his crew. He tells it like it is. The mentor is always laidback and the apprentice is almost always younger and more vibrant.

There is one scene where Morpheus is dressed in his gray long-sleeved shirt. This is the only scene with Morpheus dressed like this. In this scene an agent is torturing him so he can get the access codes to Zion mainframe. This scene is the only scene you see Morpheus helpless and under control of another person. This would explain why he is dressed in the clothing he wears outside of the Matrix. He isn't his sturdy self. He lacks almost all of his qualities he had before being captured. Once he is free from captivity he goes back to his same personality that he had before. This shows how all of his traits come out when he is on his own and able to ta
