An American Tragedy
On Tuesday September 11, 2001 America faced the largest attack on our soil in our illustrious history. A group of Islamic extremists with the intent to strike down American pride set out on a mission. These terrorist thought that by striking down the World Trade center, which is the symbol of America’s financial dominance, and the Pentagon, which is the symbol of our national defense, that American’s would be brought to their knees. These terrorists thought that such an attack would make us crumble, when in fact it has united us in a way that such a diverse group of people has never been united before.
