The story is set six hundred years past the year of Ford. The people have had time to be inbred enough that no inkling of the word freedom remained. The world is one government ran by ten world leaders and the people enjoy life free from war, hatred, poverty, disease, and pain. The scientists have every detail worked to the point of exasperation.
