Las Vegas Descriptive Essay
Driving into the famous town of Las Vegas, you wouldn’t imagine that you were about to enter a twenty-four hour party. But that’s exactly what I was about to experience. As I crossed the dry Nevada desert and topped the last bare hill, I couldn’t believe the sight that was right before my very eyes. Everywhere I looked I saw flashing fluorescent lights, buildings that seemed to touch the sky, people walking the entire length of the Vegas Strip, taxis and buses speeding and so much more. I was about to embark on a wild three-day adventure. As I entered the famous Luxor Hotel and Casino, my eyes almost came out of their sockets. The hotel’s architecture and design was amazing. The outer structure of the hotel was in the shape of a huge, black, Egyptian pyramid. The hotel’s casino was located in the center of the first floor. I walked through the enormous casino and checked out all the slot machines and gambling tables. The sight of people hitting jackpots and winning more and more coins made me ready to turn twenty-one.
