What will America's future be like? Will it continue to be prosperous and try to lead the world to peace and maybe even unite the countries in years to come? Maybe the future won't be so good and America will be conquered in war or just start to dwindle and fade into the world's past. To best understand what America's future will be like, you have to look at what has made it what it is today. Typically every American has the same basic values and traits that have originated from America's rich past and that gives America its identity. After studying them it's easy to comprehend what makes America so great.

Americans have always had the same core values, which have evolved throughout the years. They have shaped and made our country successful. Individual liberty, education, and rugged individualism are only a few.

Individual liberty is the cornerstone of American values. It's in every part of our society. The whole idea of an individual having control of their own destiny is the basic concept our government is based on and it guarantees the individual's rights. The rugged individualism valued by most Americans originates from our frontier heritage. For much of our history, there was a frontier and it greatly influenced American attitudes. Early settlers had to be self-sufficient which made them have to be inventive. Their successes gave them optimism about the future, made them think problems could be solved. This spirit gave Americans the courage to take risks other could only dream of, resulting in huge technological, medical, and scientific advances.
