There are many things that are similar between George Orwell's 1984 and Aldous Huxley's A Brave New World but the books are less similar than alike. 1984 is the story of Winston who finds illicit love surrounded by the pretense of his society. A Brave New World is a novel about the struggle of Bernard Marx, who rejects the beliefs of his society when he discovers that he is not truly content. In both cases, the main character is in quiet rebellion against his government.
