What is there to do on a free week end?

Go to school, go to work, do homework, go out with friends help around at home, those are only few of the things that we do on our daily lives. Our schedules are filled with things we have to do and sometimes we go about doing our duties without noticing little things that are not less important than other things. In my house I have taken a considerable amount of time to sit and observe my sister. I have found out of many things that she does that had been very unnoticeable. My sister has a patter of getting home and doing certain things but since we really do not observe one another we tend to not see a lot of things that the people that live with us do.

Everyday my sister wakes up in a very bad mood early in the morning at 6:45 to get ready for school. Before she does anything else she goes to the bathroom and turns on the radio there. She takes a shower, and takes for ever to come out. By the time she comes out of the shower she is in a very good mood. In my house usually we all wake up at the same time and out of all this time that I have lived in the same house and shared so many things, I had never noticed that she would wake up in a bad mood until I observed her behav

As the night falls, at around 10:00pm she decides to do her homework and usually it takes her about an hour to be done. At 11pm she takes a shower, checks to see if she has any e-mails and then she goes to bed. My observation is done for the day, and I sit and ponder about all the things we all do during our daily lives. We live our lives missing little details little things that we can make better if we notice or we can laugh at things that go on without being noticed.

My sister goes to use the phone after she is done helping my mother and she spends an average of three hours and a half on the phone. I would see her every day using the phone but I didn't really know how long she would be on. I observed my sister for a total of four days and those four days she would be on the phone for more than three hours. If we add up three hours, five days out of the week, she spends a total of fifteen hours on the phone. It's amazing how I had never noticed it before, so many hours on the phone and when ever I would see her using the phone I would think she had been using it for an hour or so.

As the day goes by, I noticed many other things she does that I had never noticed before. As she is entering the house from school she goes directly to the fridge and grabs a coke
