A detailed Summary of America's Heroes
Webster's dictionary defines a hero as "A person noted for feats of courage or nobility of purpose, especially one who has risked or sacrificed his or her life". However, to most people is simply someone who but their own needs aside and reached out to someone else. A hero is someone who does not want or care if he or she is rewarded for the actions or even recognized. They just want to make a difference in the world. To me the biggest heroes are a group of brave men which have just really been exposed for the heroes they truly are. They are the New York firefighters and the New York policemen and women.
