Civil disobedience is the want or demand for change by rising up against societies laws, rules or norms, and accepting the fate and penalties that one may receive after his actions are carried out. Civil disobedience serves as an essential player in the functioning of democracy. To remove civil disobedience from our curriculum is like removing the keystone from the foundation of a building.
