Romeo & Juliet: Comparison and Contrast between the Screenplay and the 1996 Movie
Over time, personal perspectives have heavily influenced films that are based on literature. The 1996 adaptation of Romeo & Juliet is a prime example of this. The contrasts between the original Shakespeare play and the film are clearly evident in regards to the visual perspectives and the time frame the film takes on. Amidst all these differences, the film still seems to maintain some of the factors that made the Shakespeare play so attractive to the audience.
