After a long and drawn out week of work, or school for that matter, most people like to relax and let their mind wander off to distant places. Sometimes, this momentary leaving of reality helps aid in the relieving of all the stresses and worries of the world. Storytelling has always been away to allow such a distance from the world. Things may have changed a bit on how we tell our stories but the end product is the same. With the drastic improvements of computer generated graphics, the movie industry has pushed itself into new arenas of storytelling. If it can be imagined, the idea can be made to appear on the big screen. The latest craze to hit the movie industry is the computer animated full feature film. It seems as though the push has been towards comedic, family oriented films. Shrek, the latest enhanced film has just recently been brought out on video, and is taking the world by storm. There is no doubt that Shrek is a wonderful film for all ages.
