The Look of Love

What is love? Love is an expression used to show affection towards something or someone. Steven Mather says it the best in his poem Love Defined. "Although it's better than the rest, this word can never pass the test; it fails in all capacity to describe the things you mean to me. I need a word that's soft and mellow but painted bright with sunshine yellow I need a word to see my pain a word that's proud, but never vain. I need a word that describes I care, that goes where no one else would dare. I need a word that's fair and just. I need a word of sultry lust. I need a word to hold me tight to comfort me throughout each night. I need a word of fun and play, to greet me as I start each day. I need a word to tell me plain when I'm in error once again. I need a word that's fearless, bold, not slow and weak and tired and old. I need a word of tender touch a word that needs me very much. I need a word that's sparkling new the word is love and I feel it for you." So as you can see love is an extremely powerful word and should not be taken lightly. Most of the time love feels so good but then again love can hurt. I would know better than anyone about this. Not only was I deeply in love, but my heart

There are several ways to show your love for someone. Giving flowers is a way to show your affection of love towards a person. People show their love by certain actions such as kissing, hugging, and yes sex. People tend to believe that sex is the strongest way to show your love towards someone. Which in the most case is very true. People show their love in different ways but for the most part love is expressed through shear instinct and feeling. There are no boundaries when it comes to love. Showing love is not all material things or things you can touch; it runs a lot deeper than that. Love can be shown through simple actions, which create honesty and trust, the two basic foundations for being in love. These are probably the best ways to show another person that you absolutely love them. Love is complicated but it is these little things that make love seem so simple and harmless. Candy and flowers will only go so far, if you want to show someone you truly love them the best way to do it is through your heart, and the trust and honesty comes directly from the heart. It's things like that, which makes love so special.

I dated a girl back when I was a sophomore in high school for a year and a half. You could say that we were in love. The only problem was when I was a senior she was a freshman at Pepperdine University. Our love ended up fading away as days went on. Being in college she had more of an advantage of meeting someone new and knowing this drove me absolutely insane. I would say that our still exists but in a different way. It is almost like I have to love her just because she was my first and only love. For me this kind of love is hard to handle, it is hard to deal with the fact that our love had faded but that my feelings for her were still true and had never actually drifted away. I can say this, as rough as the break up was, love kept us friends. Even though we drifted apart love still could bring us back together and that is why love is so unique. The weird thing about is if she didn't leave we still might have been together today. Love works in mysterious ways, It is not something you can control, it will occur whenever and wherever. Love truly is unpredictable, but when it strikes it is an amazing surprise. From experiencin
