Taming of the Shrew

A detailed Summary of Taming of the Shrew

How do you "tame" a potential mate? When this question come to mind, it may make people think of the book Taming of the Shrew. In this book some ways that Petrucio tames Katherine was by keeping her from eating and sleeping. That may be a way to tame a shrew, but what are some was to tame a rogue? First, you would probably want to take away things they can't live without. Now, were not talking about the water, food and air. It's more like the T.V., the money, the sports, and the recliner.

Now, to make them stop watching T.V. is a very simple procedure, just pull out all of the plugs in the back, and switch them around. Now everyone knows they will never call customer service, because they think they can fix it. Well, since the television does now work, it wouldn't hurt if they learned how to wash the

dishes. There is a caution in this. If they say they will try to fix it, just lie and say you will go buy a new one tomorrow.

In addition, pretending to be upset with them will make them listen. If they try to speak with you just turn the other way as if they would have said something mean. By them not knowing why you are upset, leads to them being nice. An example of this was displayed in the play Taming of The Shrew. When Petrucio brought Kate back to his house, he kept her from eating. Kate did not know why he was doing this so she obeyed him. So by ignoring the person it makes them wonder, and they will comply with what you say.

So, how do you "tame" a potential mate? Men's necessities are not air and water. Men's necessities are cars, money, television, and we can't forget the recliner.
