The fall of the Beatles

Some people think that egos were what did it; some people think that Yoko Ono did it; some think that Linda did it. Everyone has their own theory as to what made the Beatles break up. "I just think the reason (they broke up) is that they had been to Mars and back, and they had just had enough. I think they all still loved their music, and they all still loved each other, but it's a metamorphosis that they went through"(Douglas Herbert, CNN writer).
