File sharing is now part of everyday life for the internet generation. The majority of this file sharing is illegal, but it still occurs everyday nonstop. Napster and other programs like it are inevitable because the internet provides a worldwide link between people and the files that they desire to share with others.

The internet was a great invention to share information around the world quickly and easily. Somehow, people managed to distort it to a massive file-sharing program. The bulk of what today's teens do online is download songs and programs off the internet. Such programs as Napster make it easier for the "non-computer geek" to have access to all of these songs. Downloading songs and programs used to be for the highly informed "hackers." Now in the


File sharing continues to become increasingly popular with time. With popularity comes problems. These problems can be circumvented by people coming up with new file sharing programs and new ways to share files. Napster may have been basically stopped but other programs like it are available and many more to come in the future. Trying to stop these programs causes more problems then it solves. The inevitable cannot be stopped which means people trying to stop these programs are in for a never ending task of constant bickering and fighting over who's wrong and who's right in the internet world of file sharing.
