Civil Engineering

When I was a little boy my father bought me an erector set, I used to spend hours on end everyday building stuff from bridges to buildings. Ever since then I knew that I wanted to be a civil engineer and nothing else would do. Last year I enrolled at Michigan Technological University (MTU) and in four years I plan to graduate from Michigan Technological University with a civil engineering degree. We must use technology that permits rapid repair and prompt reinstatement to service with minimal disruptions to safety and traffic flow. One recent technology that has started gaining popularity relates to pavement and waste products. This technology is the use of old computers and old tires. The process breaks up the old tires and old computers into small pieces which are then added with tar and other che
