Green, orange and brown blended together in the water. Half empty trees towered above me at the edge and as the wind blew; tokens of approaching winter fell into the water. There was laughing, cheering even, familiar faces were all around me. We pushed off the dock and sailed out of the tiny bay. The wind was fierce that day, perfect for sailing.
