1. Roger Bacon- Roger Bacon wrote Opius Maius, which said that experimental science was the only way to find an answer. Also he denounced the deductive reasoning of the time saying that inductive reasoning was the best way to find an answer

4. Jon Hus- Hus was a theologian and religious rebel in Bohemia (Check/Slovakia). He was close enough to Rome and the Papacy that could get him and he was burned on the stake.

5. Henry II of England- Henry II was the first English justice. He created a common law for his land and set up the first judicial system with judges and juries. But, the system was in favor of him.
