It had only been a year since my last visit, yet every time I go I some how find myself marveled at my surroundings. It might no be luxury to everybody, but for me it is very special. The little things that can make things be so different in every way, captures me every time I go. The feelings of happiness and all kind of emotions took over me. I was going to see my family, friends, and all the people that I grew up with, and I knew it would be a wonderful experience.

I exit the plane and went down the stairs, and waited for the arrival of the shuttle that took me to the terminal. While waiting in line, the excitement grew more and more every time. The anticipation of seeing my family just kept barging inside me, making it obvious how happy I was.


As we left the airport, some of us stayed and waited for my uncle to pick us up in his Sports Utility Vehicle. In the car I got distracted by the people on the streets, how they try to survive by working hard. One particular man comes to mind. While at a stoplight a man approached us, and made hard signals as if trying to sell as a newspaper. His long beard was matted, and his hair uncombed. Trying not to be too obvious, I took a quick glance at him. His face was wrinkle and dirty, his eyes were drooping and appeared as if they had seen and felt despair. I suddenly found myself having another perspective about humanity.
