To me, success means to accomplish something and then feeling satisfied with the results. If I do well on a test or if I learn how to play the guitar really well, I consider myself successful. If I were to reach the end of my life, I would judge whether if I were a success or not by thinking about the things I’ve accomplished. For example, I would think about the children I’ve raised, the house that I worked hard for to buy, the trophies or awards I’ve received, my marriage, my friends, or even how well I supported my family. I would take all these and more into consideration when I think about my success. I would define success in terms of material and intangible possessions. A material possession would have to be something I earned, so I wouldn’t consider winning the lottery a part of my success, though I would accept the prize. Rich people consider themselves successful, but they feel incomplete because they’re missing so
