Is Religion a Necessary Part?
After the September 11, many questions regarding religion have been raised all over the world. Today every individual in America is wondering “ Is religion really necessary”. “Aren’t we more safe without it?” Americans have experienced this question for the first time in history, however that is not the case with most of the other countries. The place from where I come i.e., India has always been targeted with invasions by different religion. India was once a land of gold and knowledge. Aryans, nomadic tribes from North were the first ones to come to this land. They along with the already existing Dravidians thought that food, water and shelter should not be the main goal of life. They felt that human life was much more precious and that it should be utilized in a better way. So after a lot of thinking and discussions they came up with a ideal way of living and called that way of life Hinduism. Group of people who had proper knowledge about Hinduism went from place to place and tried to spread this concept. Thus, through religion, the people of India got the concept of better life. This concept brought discipline amongst people and thus helped them develop and improve in all fields. Everybody appreciated the concept of religion
