On the night of September 10th I decided that I was going to start taking note on my 24 hours of media consumption from when I wake up the next morning. Media has become a major part of many peoples lives. Some people may take advantage of it in everyday life, and some may take it for granted. I unfortunately have been taking it for granted. I felt that my project wasn't going to have much detail because I usually do not watch T.V. or read newspapers, but after this event and taking note of the media I consume each day I realize that it is a valuable resource that I should pay more attention to.

Usually after dinner I would come home and take a nap, but I decided to go back to the television and see if anymore information was given out. I watched it for about and hour, but then I felt that I need a little break from it all. It was pretty late by this time. So I decided to go online. As I expected it was everywhere online also. But I just passed it up and decided to check my mail. I opened my mail and there was a letter from my friend about what happened. Being from New York he was hoping everyone in my family was ok, but at the end there was a quote.
