Evolution Pro Religious
A detailed Summary of Evolution Pro Religious
The theory that man evolved from a lesser-developed hominid species by means of a prolonged developing process is quite plausible and shows substantial evidence proving it to be a valid theory. Evolution is supported through empirical evidence and only major rebuttal is that of the biblical standpoint which it self is full of half true statements, exaggerations, misconstrued information, and one giant game of telephone. If the bible is not just taking literal and actual meaning is sought it poses an interesting question. The argument does not account for the hundreds of other religions out there, thus assuming they are correct.
The Evolutionary theory is most attributed to Charles Darwin. Evolution is the process by which all living things have developed from primitive organisms through changes occurring over billions of years, a process that includes all animals and plants. Darwin's theory of evolutionary selection holds that variation within species occurs randomly and that the survival or extinction of each organism is determined by that organism's ability to adapt to its environment. Darwin's idea of evolution can be used and adapted ( note: pun) to understand how humans evolved from their predecessors. Homo sapiens are t

he only living representative of the family Hominidae. The Hominidae, or hominids are a group of upright walking primates with relatively large brains. All humans are hominids, but not all hominids can be called human. In further analysis we say all humans are primates. The mammalian order of primates includes about 180 species of prosimians (lemur like animals), monkeys, apes, and ourselves. Primates are unusual mammals for they have evolved such distinctive traits as highly developed binocular vision, mobile fingers and toes with flat nails instead of claws, a shortened snout with a reduced sense of smell, and large brains relative to body size. If primates are unusual for mammals, humans are even more unusual for primates. We are essentially elaborated African apes. We share almost 99 percent of our genetic material with chimpanzees. Yet we have several traits that are very different. Two legged walking, or bipedalism seems to be one of the earliest of the major hominine characteristics to have evolved. The common characteristics we display with the primates are uncanny and cannot be denied nor overlooked. It makes sense to consider the step-by-step process that the primates under went through to arrive at where they are today, and even more where we are today.
Buddhism is another major religion for the masses. We quote a statement from the holy doctrine Samyutta-Nikaya V 148-49, "In the Himalaya, brethren, there is a region that is...the range of both monkeys and human beings. Buddhist are very spiritual people whom are very aware of spiritual plains and entities. This range in the Himalaya could be their interruption of a missing link, the range of humans and monkeys being an evolutionary step or process.
