Communication between the sexes is an age old problem that has been construed overthe years to be the result of many factors. I believe the central problem between male and female communication is that men are direct and to the point, while women like to tell a story which is typically more illustrative and emotional. Therefore, it may be that men tend to turn a deaf ear to what women have to say because it seems men often lose interest due to the story-telling approach women utilize while communicating. Let me point out that this is only my opinion and depending on who you ask or what you read, you may find that there are many other opinions.
