It was painted during the Renaissance by Leonardo DaVinci, an inventor, scientist, architect, and artist. It is not known of whom the painting is of, or why it was made. The woman in the painting exhibits some striking facial features. Is she smiling or not? What is that sneaky little frown that she has on her lips? What did Mona and Leonardo do before working on this painting? She is wearing a green dress and has very dark straight hair. In the background there are trees and far away buildings and on top of it all is the sky. It is the most recognized painting in the world.The Mona Lisa has been re-interpreted a million times.
