A detailed Summary of the lord of the rings
J.R.R. Tolkein, THE LORD OF THE RINGS
Tolkein?s Lord of the Rings is a long book in three volumes. It is the story of a special journey made by a Hobbit called Frodo Baggins. It is a journey into an unknown land inhabited by many unusual and different characters, both good and bad. It is about a special journey to destroy a very powerful Ring.
?One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all and in the darkness bind them?.
This is how Tolkein captures the essence of the adventure. Whoever owns this Ring has the power to be invisible, and this may lead bad owners of the Ring to do great evil. It is not the Ring itself that is bad, but how it can tempt anyone into doing things that are harmful to others. For that reason the Hobbit is on a journey to destroy the Ring. The Ring had the power to make you invisible when you put it on. It depends how it was brought to you in kindness then it does not harm you. but if it was brought after violence then the Ring would harm you. You did not find the Ring, the Ring found you. Also, if you wear the Ring over many years you will become permanently invisible, never to be seen by anyone again ever and the d

So Frodo and his friends were very wary of him. Later that evening Frodo is entertaining his friends to a meal together with some people from the inn who have not met Hobbits from the Shire for a long time. Strider saves them from one of the nine riders - Strider says they are in danger if they sleep in their beds - so they hide. Later that night the nine the nine riders enter the inn and slash the shapes in the beds. Frodo and his friends were not in bed so were unharmed, and they realise that Strider is a friend not an enemy. Later on their journey they camped and always had someone looking out for enemies
ark forces of the ring will harm you. It is too dangerous. The ring must be brought back to where it was made and destroyed so that Good will win.
They travelled by walking or riding donkeys all the way to Mordor. They passed over mountains, through marshlands, crossed river valleys until they reached their destination. The journey was terrible, one of their party, an elf, got killed, Gandalf seemed to be killed by a vile demon who made him fall in a pit - they both fell through
