Morals come from respect for nature, respect for others and respect for yourself. Morals are morals whether you're Christian, Catholic, Atheist, Buddhist or part of any other belief system.
People don't even think about the faults in this state of mind anymore. They simply accept it as true. Apparently, somewhere in time, words got mixed up. Church exists for people to be able to learn morality. Church has become a place people use to be morally decent. It may not be intentional, but it's there.

eek, and many of their children find it incredibly boring. Why do parents make the children that they love do something that they're not interested in? Some fall back on morality. "They need to get some morals." Morals aren't just handed out at the door. They must be taught. Parents have the power to give good morals to their children through their actions. Young children learn best through example. They try to mimic their parents' behaviors in order to develop mentally and physically. If parents display bad morals throughout the child's upbringing, it is difficult to teach them otherwise. On the other hand, if parents show good morals, children will grow up knowing right from wrong. And if kids had good morals as a base, the idea that attending church equals good morals can be thrown out.
