Comparison and Contrast on Benefits Between Small and Large Colleges
Learning modalities and styles are different among each individual person. A person may have higher music intelligence and excel in music abilities. Another person may be more intelligent in a science or math and not have high music intelligence at all. A learning modality is an individual's way of learning and teaching. When looking to compare and contrast colleges a person must look at the way they learn. If they learn more efficiently and productive through a lecture, a large college may be more effective for their education strategy compared to a small school where they would have more kinesthetic learning opportunities.
Small colleges and large colleges have the same goal. The go
al is to make money off of the student. That may not always be evident but it is the truth. They are in business to make money off of the student, the student's family, and any other person or organization related to the student. This is the most realistic comparison between both sizes of colleges. Both schools represent a place of higher education. They both have the same benefits of graduating with a degree and some form of job placement through academic services. In comparison between both schools, each has some form of extra curricular activities, in most scenarios a "Greek" life.
