The Futuristic Ideas of 1984 and Fahrenheit 451Ray Bradbury and George Orwell share a common focus in their books about the future of society in years to come. Each of their novels depicts the future as non-individualistic, totalitarian and restricts our freedoms. The author of Fahrenheit 451, Ray Bradbury puts his main character in a world where he must destroy books in order to keep the people from having diverse opinions when reading these materials.
