Napoleon Bonaparte

Shortly after the French Revolution one of the greatest military minds to ever walk the planet, well... walked the planet.

"Napoleon was one of the greatest military minds in the history of warfare. He expanded the conquests of France from her revolutionary borders to that of an Empire that stretched from Spain to the steppes of Russia."(Dean)

Where after, he was exiled to St. Helena and kept under constant watch. He died May 5th 1821.

During later military events, he met many political figures. One of which was a Corsican, named Saliceti (Bloom). This in turn helped him get promoted to major (Bloom). Not long after that he was promoted again to the status of brigadier general and was sent to the Italian front ("Napoleon I").

In March of 1796 he left for Italy. Before he left, though, he had married Josephine de Beauharnais ("Napoleon I"). When he arrived he met a malnourished and inadequately equipped army. The main weapon of the French army was the French model 1777 caliber 17.5mm smooth bore musket (The Diagram Group, 119). He quickly changed this, and turned his army into top of the line fighting machines ("Napoleon I"). He taught his men how to live off the land, because the Directory was
