Input yourself as the smartest of your class. Sounds good, right? Then imagine everyone laughing at you for some reason or another, and soon you may realize that your blessing is actually a curse. For me, this quote could mean the pressure of dealing with competition, to put someone down just so you can prove yourself for a bit of credit.
