Brave New world: useof science
In Brave New World the author, Aldous Huxley, uses science to keep the inhabitancy of his world down. The masses such as Linda and the Epsilons fallow blindly into the world they are told is the height of technological advancement. Methods such as conditioning lead them to this blind path, they believe their leader unconditionally with out thought other wise. The world leaders in turn used this to their advantage, the leaders created a world that would work more efficiently and put more money in their pocket. Later in the novel Mustapha Mond, the controller, reveals that the society functions only because science is limited. If one is suspected of an over interest in the sciences or not enjoying participating in costly or social events they are sent to a distant island so their infectious ideas will not spread. It is this disregard for advancement of life that John, a savage, can not live with and so eventually ends his life without the medication or the children in death de-sensitivity training. The world states motto states ?COMMUNITY, IDENTITY, SATABILITY(Huxley,1).? The masses of people in Huxley?s world have been conditioned into their existence, they are taught to be happy in their station ?Alpha children wear gray
