How well did the author achieve his purpose: I think the author achieved his purpose very well. He made the book very interesting.
George - I didn't like George that much. I thought he was mean to Lennie.
Lennie - Lennie was probably one of my more favorite characters. He was nice to everyone even though he wasn't one of the smartest people.
Mood: The mood of the book changed. Some parts it was happy and other sad.
The book's strengths were they way the book was explained and the suspense it built in the end
Summary: George was a small man and Lennie a tall man. They traveled together and Lennie was always getting in trouble. They get a job in the Salinas Valley. George and Lennie dreamed of owning their own land. George told Lennie that if he got in any trouble on this ranch he would not be able to take care of the rabbits. So, Lennie told George he would stay out of trouble. George told Lennie to keep away from Curley's wife, but he didn't. One day when Lennie was in the barn, his wife came in and started talking to Lennie. Lennie grabbed her hair and wouldn't let go. After not letting her go, she fell over dead. Lennie then went to the place where George told him to go if he got in trouble. When everyone found out Lennie had killed Curley's wife, they told George he should just kill Lennie cause he was causing him
