Stranger in the village
A detailed Summary of Stranger in the village
It was a cold day in New York and I just got off the plane with my little brother and my parents. I was looking at the scenery while I was in the car on the way to my uncle's house; we were looking for a house to move into. It was the very first time I have ever moved and also been out of my home state Florida. I was very curious and I was also very afraid what we will do now.
When we got to my uncle's house, we were treated like royalty. It was great seeing my uncle and my aunt. I met my cousin for the first time. He was the same age as me, so that was a relief. His name was Vinny; he had black hair, and had always worn a leather jacket. I also found out that he would be going to the same school and in the same grade, which was great because I didn't know anybody at the time. It was very hard for me not to cry. I just got up and ran out of my health class, without telling anyone and went straight to the bathroom. I stayed in the bathroom all day long, crying until it was time to get on the bus and go home. It was the worst day of school I ever had in my entire life.
on my schedule. I tried sitting next to a boy and he said the desk was saved for someone else. I knew no one else was going to sit there because it was 5 minutes after the bell rung, so I just sat in the back of the corner alone, with no one to talk to. I had no one to talk to and I felt really lonely.
The next day I woke up earlier than usual and I prepared myself for another day at war. I was sitting in the back of social studies, and John (the most popular guy in school) spit a spitball at the teacher. The teacher turned around looking furious, and said, "Who threw that!" I didn't know what to do. I was so desperate to make fri
