1. My reaction to Finny’s death was very appalling and astonishing. I would have never expected Finny to die mainly because I saw him as a main character and I thought that by making Finny die they ended the story at that specific point. I now think that this was a very appropriate ending to the story and that it gave Gene a new meaning of life and how fragile it really is.2. Gene and Finny really do have two different meanings of life. Gene has a more sensual and normal feeling towards things. On the other hand Finny has a much more off the wall look at things and takes life like it is going to end at any moment.
