The name of my movie I reviewed is called "The Patriot" and the production year of this movie was 2000. Roland Emmerich directed the movie and the leading actors of the movie are: Mel Gibson, Heath Ledger, Joely Richardson, Jason Isaacs, Chris Cooper, Tcheky Karyo, Rene Auberjonois, Lisa Brenner, and Tom Wilkinson. In the beginning, this movie takes its place in South Carolina in the year 1776. A former hero of the French and Indian War, Benjamin Martin (Mel Gibson), the main character, has renounced fighting forever to raise his family in peace. Since his wife, with whom he has raised seven children, passed on, he wanted to trade his violent past for a peaceful future on his plantation. While conflicts of war continue in the north, a recruiting drive for volunteers for the growing Continental Arm
