1)The title of the book is, The Stranger and the author is Albert Camus.
2) The story is about and narrorated by a man named Meursault. The story begins with the death of Meursault's mother. He's not very close with her and he goes to the Nursing home in which she lived in for her funeral. He's definitely not emotional about the situation and doesn't show that he is sad or hurt by it at all. He focuses on the world around him instead of the personal issues in his life. Once he grew up he felt like there wasn't anything more for them to say to each other. After the funeral he decided to go swimming and he randomly saw a girl that he had a thing for that he had worked for and they ended up going to a movie and went back to his house to have sex. His life is very casual. Mersault introduces his neighbor to the readers. His name is Salamano and he has a dog that he describes as being really gross looking. Salamano and his dog have a love-hate relationship. Meursault is very afraid of love. When he's approached with the situation, love is only a word to him that is used too often. His neighbor Raymond and his girlfriend get in a physical argument and Meursault doesn't have any reaction towards
"Meursault...." he begins. "You have been proven guilty of murder." he pauses. "For this charge you have been sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole. "
Premeditated: The man asked me the question and I premeditated thoroughly before answering him.
5) The title is referring to him. He is the Stranger. He doesn't let people come into his life with a meaning or purpose. He's never attached to a person as we sometimes find ourselves do. He doesn't open up to someone giving them trust over who is really is and how he feels. He's a stranger in his own world.
