In this creation story, God creates the heavens and the earth, everything in between, and Adam (man) from dust. The Lord God allows his creation, Adam, to abide in the Garden of Eden and eat from whatever tree he pleases except from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Latter on, the Lord God notices that man is not complete. He therefore creates Eve, a woman, from Adam’s rib to complete man. From this part of the story, it is assert able that this story doesn’t support gender balance from the fact that god creates man first in his image and latter creates woman from one of Adam’s ribs.
