Brave New World
The life and ideas of the Brave New World compared to the United States are very different in numerous ways. Three major differences between the two, are the ideas of love and marriage, human life and death, and the use of drugs. The New World and the United States look at love and marriage in completely different ways. The United States looks at love as an emotional affectionate type of bond. Two people have a sort of friendship and closeness that is put together to later form a marriage or even a family. Marriage and monogamous relationships are encouraged throughout the United States as well. Sex is looked at as something that is very special, emotional, and affectionate among lovers. Sex is encouraged only among people who feel that they are in love with each other. Unlike in the Brave New World where sex is encouraged among everyone and the women are conditioned to be promiscuous.
