In the essay "Professions for Women," Virginia Woolf

writes that gender profiling can destroy a woman's success

in their career. In the essay, she discusses the role of

discrimination that was played in her role. She discusses

how things are so men oriented. She has a sense of

confusion to what is she ought to do as a woman. Social

conventions can affect a person's professional life for

the worst.Throughout history women have often barred from

seeking a professional jobs and success. As far, I can

remember, women were expected to stay home and take care of

the house and the children. Those times have changed.

Who ever said that defending your own country was a

man's job? It surprisenly to see more women joining the

armed forces. Over the last decade, the amount of woman

soliders has doubled. Females have every capabilities as
