Catcher In The Rye outline
In the book The Catcher In The Rye, written by J.D. Salinger, Holden is confused because he cannot find what he is looking for. Holden believes growing up means letting go of his idealism, and learning to accept the harsh realities of life, death, and the loss of innocenceI. Accepting life's harsh reality and loss of innocence A. Holden first realizes the changes he is going through when he talks to Mr. Antolini at his house 1. Mr. Antolini tells Holden he is headed for a fall that he wont be able to stop and explains to him that he will end up going through terrible events if he is unable to stop him self.
