Mythology(promethus and men)

Above any other god or titan, Prometheus had the best interaction with humans, more then Zues, the king of the gods, who actually despises men; his appreciation for men is greater then Hermes, who help humans as they travel through the dark and guide the newly dead to the underworld. Prometheus is more then the creator of man. He's their guardian, protector, provider, teacher and friend. One can say without Prometheus man wouldn't be who they are today. Prometheus is the god of men.

Prometheus was a titan. He was born from the union of the titan Iapetus and the nymph Asia. He was one of four children born to the pair. The siblings of Prometheus included Menoetius, Atlas and Epimetheus, all of them titans. Prometheus name means forsight, he can foretold the future and his brother Epimetheus name means hindsight. Similar to Zues, Prometheus was notoriously known for having metis, which means cleverness. Amongst all the gods and titans Prometheus possess the most metis and unfortunately for Prometheus his cleverness led to his demise.

The infamous incident at Mecone could be considered as another sign of Prometheus love for mortals. He was trying to protect men from having to be completely subservient to the gods. As a gesture of respect, obedient and loyalties, Zues demanded that man most present a portion of each animal they sacrificed to the gods, which made Prometheus very unpleased. Thus, the ever so metis Prometheus decided to trick Zues. He created two piles to be sacrifice to the gods; one with ox bones wrapped in juicy fat and the other one contained the good meat hidden in the box. Then, Prometheus bade Zues to pick and the king of the gods ended up picking the less desirable fat bones. It was a shocking blow to Zues's ego; the embarrassment left him furious at Prometheus. " In his vengeful spirit a terrible future for mortal men, one they could never evade. He took the white suet in his hands, but within him his heart raged with anger, as he saw that the tempting outside held the ox's white bones beneath and ever since then men of every race on the face of the earth burn the white
