School Uniforms
School Uniforms: To Wear Or Not To Wear? While younger children may be agreeable to uniforms, teenagers are different. It goes without saying that adolescence is a time when young people make every effort to express their individuality in many different ways, especially through fashion. If given a choice, it is hard to imagine that most or even many teenagers would choose to wear school uniforms. If people are serious about finding solutions to the problem of school violence, maybe they should ask the real experts: the students themselves. Why make a mountain out of a molehill with school uniforms. It seems that the only freedom that teens have these days are the way they choose to dress. A school is the place to learn not to put more burden then needed on a students shoulders. Clothing encourages creativity, personality, and diversity. Society should know about the cost and well being of the children, and students should know about what makes them different from everyone else. This is part of life, which is also part of the learning process, taking this away would be like taking away a branch of education. students wear the same uniforms, such as the elimination of school violence and better student grades. The truth of the matter is that clothes express uniqueness and variety, and can often reveal a lot about a person, such as fashion preference and personality. Many teens like the punk look or the preppy look, for instance some even like the comfy look
