Anglicanism
The Christianity isn't one big happy family, as Jesus intended it to be. Christianity has many different divisions, including, Catholic, Protestant, Eastern Orthodox. Throughout the ages Christianity hasn't always been good, there has been Wars, between the different branches, some have some different beliefs, but there is one belief that is held sacred to Christians, the belief in The Lord, Jesus Christ. Through all the fighting and war of words, Jesus is still a major part of all the branches of Christianity. Corruption, not always the greatest thing, has been prevalent in the Church, through different sorts of scandals for example, buying your way into heaven, the ability to divorce your spouse. Anglicanism, was the born through, divorce. Henry VII wanted to divorce his wife, and the Catholic Church did not allow him to do so, therefore, he created his division of Christianity, which allowed for divorce. Anglicanism is the official Church of England, and its followers and traditions are based on England after the Reformation. Anglicanism, like all major religions has a central book of belief. Hinduism, has the Gita, Islam, has the Kuran, and Judaism has the Tanakh. As Catholicism it would be thought that that the Bible (New and Old Testament) would be the central book of belief in all the branches of Christianity, but it isn't. The Book of Common Prayer is the central book of belief in the Anglican faith. It also contains the 3 central doctrines; the Apostles' Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Athanasian' creed. These creeds are also said on the Roman Catholic branch of Christianity. The ideals of the Bible teach about the life and times of our saviour Jesus Christ, and His life is the basis of all religions of Christianity, it is puzzling to say the least, why his life would be the central book. If the doctrines were the same why wouldn't most central facts be the same? Why do they believe in the Scriptures and live by the scriptures, and they do not have the scriptures as their central thought, if they regard it as very important. Anglicanism is a branch of Christianity, and therefore, should believe in the Holy Book. Anglican Christian traditions are based on the English Reformation, and its ministers go through apostolic succession, it is also the official Church of England. Although Anglicanism, is based primarily in England it has a support in Canada and the U.S.A. Anglicanism and Catholicism share views, and look different to other things. Corruption and fighting still occur between the Catholics and Protestants and this should stop. Jesus is present in Anglicanism just as much as it is prevalent in Catholicism. The sacraments are a central way to live your life in the Catholic Church. There are 7, Baptism, Confirmation, Reconciliation, Eucharist, Marriage, Holy Orders, and Anointing of the Sick. In the Anglican Church, they have Sacraments, but only 2, Baptism and the Last Supper (Eucharist). It is understandable that marriage not be a sacrament, but why wouldn't the others. Reconciliation relieves you from your sins, and everyone sins. Confirmation should be on because it states that person wants to be
