Dreams

Have you ever felt as if you were falling down an endless hole and suddenly awake to realise that you were dreaming? This is one of the most common dreams that people have been experiencing ever since dreams were first studied. Dreams are simply an illustration of the body and mind in relation to our environmental state of being. Since our brains are always functioning, we encounter different states of consciousness, which leads to various activities throughout the mind. The source of dreams is our imagination and memory; without these key factors, dreaming would be nothing.

Since our minds never sleep, we encounter many different forms of awareness. With many different forms of consciousness, it is possible to say that our dream activity in our mind is constant. The stage of sleep that is known to cause dreams is the REM (Rapid Eye Movement) stage. During the REM stage, your eyes move around as if you were completely awake. Children experience REM more often than adults because it assists in the development of the brain. Using our imaginations, we are able to create a perfect image of what we desire something or someone to look like. It is often that the places in dreams are pointing to a specific area of your life. Take notice to dreams with locations from the past for they may be prophetic (Pipp 1).

The way we depict others and ourselves alters our physical state of being in dreams. There are many different aspects that can change our dreams such as one's body features, expressions, or even clothes. The different moods you encounter cause a tendency to choose different clothing, for this reason, clothing best symbolises your mood in dreams. Hair has an assortment of meanings when seen in dreams. When death or injury occurs in an individual's life, it is common to see themselves or others with white or grey hair. The way you feel about death can be very enlightening or cause anguish in dreams; it all depends on how willing you are to accept it and what it has to tell you. Friends portrayed in dreams are actually mere reflections of yourself. It is always a good idea to pay close attention to who is in your dreams because you may learn a thing or two about yo
