People may think this is a simple process, but for a newcomer to the fire-making game, it can be a chore.

The first thing you'll need to do is to have the following things handy: a lighter, some paper, a large supply of wood, and lastly, some marshmallows.

Ok, first step. Find a suitable place on the ground where the fire will be contained and won't set the branches of nearby trees aflame. Simple, wasn't it? I wish I knew this first step when I lit my first fire-I ended up creating a forest
