The Plan
A detailed Summary of The Plan
One of the first pieces of advice my mother gave me as a kid was that nobody was perfect. If it's one thing that I have observed in people it's just that. Even the most morally perfect people sometimes stumble and have a moment that they're not really proud of. Take me for instance. I love my friends. They're really the most important thing to me in the world next to my family. So when I did something with malicious intent I felt contemptible.
I have a friend named Jackie who is from San Jose. If you have spent any length of time in Santa Cruz you know how the locals feel about people from San Jose, otherwise know as trannies. We make fun of them, heckle them, I even have friends who like to beat them up for fun. But Jackie was different. Jackie didn't dress like them. She dressed like a Santa Cruz local. She didn't really talk like them. The only thing was that she did say "hella" some. Jackie came from a really rough childhood and that made it very hard for us to give her a hard time. Her mother died when she was fifteen and she had been living on her own for about two years, it really showed. She's the only one of my friends who knew how to balance a checkbook and pay the

When winter break came this year I was so happy. Not neccessarliy because I was out of school, though that helped, but because all of my high school friends were coming back. When the high school friends are in town they take priority on my time. This is not because I like one group of friends any more than the other, it's just that since I never see them I feel like I need to see them as much as possible before they leave again. One night I had plans to hang out with two of my best friends: Cameron and Vanessa over at Cam's house. I love hanging with these two because they are some of my only friends that I can just sit and talk with. We were deep into a discussion when the phone rang. It was Andre and Jason; they said the were meeting people over at Tanner and Tim's house but they needed to kill an hour. I asked Cam if it was okay if the came over and he said sit was cool as long as nobody else came over. So they came over and we were just hanging out talking when the phone rang again. I picked it up and it was Jackie; she wanted to know if she could come over and kill time with Andre and Jason. I asked her if she was with anyone she told me no. So I asked Cam and after some convincing he said it was okay as long as it wasn't for very long. About ten minutes later I go outside to meet her and she has a surprise for me: five more people who I did not know. My heart sank when I saw the other people, Cam would yell at me for sure. But the reality of the situation didn't set in until they got up close. Yellow addias visors, orange Puma shoes, and a lowered Mitsubishi with the biggest spoiler that you ever saw. "Jesus," I thought to myself, "she brought a bunch of trannies." I was really dumbfounded because when I had asked her if anyone was with her she had told me no. She had lied to me. She came up and introduced me to her friends as though nothing was wrong. Not really know what to do I brought them inside. Needless to say Cam was not happy. he pulled me aside and through clenched teeth told me that he was going on a walk and if the people weren't out by the time he got back, there would be serious consequences.
Once we got away we needed a place to go. Tanner and Tim's was out because we though Jackie would surely go there. I couldn't go back to Cam's because I didn't want to risk running into Jackie on the Mission. So we figured that we would actually
