KURT COBAIN

1. Kurt Donald Cobain was born on the 20th of February in 1967 in Aberdeen, Washington, not far from Seattle.

2. He grew up in a mid-class society.

3. As a child, he was very hyperactive, and was prescribed to a morphine based drug to help him concentrate in school. These drugs affected him later in life.

4. The drug often kept him awake at night, so he was then prescribed on a sedative.

5. Kurt's childhood was very good until his parents got divorced when he was seven years old. He often referred to it as an 'emotional holocaust'.

6. Don Cobain (Kurt's father) changed his job to work in the timber industry, and this is when the problems started.

7. Kurt's parents' divorce was tough for Kurt and made him very shy.

8. Kurt moved back and forth between his parents.

9. His parents' divorce was the single most important event in his life that shaped his personality.

10. Both of his parents remarried. His mothers' new husband, Frank Franich, was hated very much by Kurt. His fathers' new wife, Jenny Westby, was liked by Kurt at first, but then his jealously took over and made him start to dislike her.
