A detailed Summary of The Rocking Horse Winner Essay
The rocking horse winner is about a boy named Paul that rides a horse to lean who
the winner of the horse races are. He does this to help get his mother out of debt. The
movie overall was more interesting and dramatic to me than the book. Basically because
movie had visualization. The facial expressions and the way people reacted to certain
situations was more easily understood in the movie than in the book. The plot was just
more interesting in the movie than in the book for the same reason visualization. You
could see Paul's parent's fighting in front of him which could have contributed to Paul
condition at the end of the story.
The mother is self-indulgent of herself throughout both the movie and the book.
However, in the book she seemed to be a little more concerned with Paul. At the end,
